We got Roxy in October 1997. A local breeder had to place several dogs because she was ill and needed to move closer to family. As a rescue person and a friend, I took two dogs in and fell in love with Roxy. She fit in our home immediately. The previous owner tried to sell her, but time was a concern. The owner was very happy when I asked about buying Roxy from her. She had wanted her to go to a show home to begin with.

Roxy is lucky enough to have two registered names. I had to hardship her into ASCA and had to get breeder, Ken Kimbell, to sign the papers. Ken, however did not sign the kennel name. When I was ready to send the form into ASCA, I noticed this and could not contact Ken, for he had passed away. Roxy became our dog; she is very sweet and loves to snuggle. She has so much expression and a "want to please" temperament. She is OFA Good and her eyes are cleared yearly. She is very correct, with correct movement. We feel very lucky that she fell into our hands and heart.

Roxy is an excellent producer. She has produced:

Roxy also had fun in the show ring. Our little girl ended up number 5 in the 2002-2003 ASCA Altered Conformation standings!

Roxy achieved her Hall of Fame status the beginning of 2005. We can't be more proud of this accomplishment!

Roxy is now at the bridge waiting for us. We lost her to liver cancer on August 5, 2005. Sleep well Foxy Roxy, we love you.
